problem with studio lights in my school?
im trying to do my own project for my portfolio inside the school
all our lights are tungsten
the problem is that the lighting that would be most suitable for the project has to be like pure white
[not strobe]
so waht should i do because the thing is that the tungsten light actually gives a ‘warmer’ colour to skin tone which would rly not look good because for hte project im trying to make one of my models to look very pale and give it a bit of a dark setting
Use the correct white balance if you’re using digital, put a filter on the camera lens if using daylight film (80a or 80b) or use tungsten balanced film.
Picasa (free from Google) allows you to adjust the colour temperature of the image and/or add a colour tint. And lighten/darken. Or would that be cheating?
