Freshly Pierced Second hole in my ear… do I really have to wait a month to change them?
I got my ears pierced yesterday and I went and bought surgical steel 16 gauge horseshoe earrings (the size of the post they put in should be 16 right?) I want to change my earrings to the horseshoes, I would leave them in for at least the month. Is it a bad idea to change them out or is it ok as long as I leave SOME earring in…
forcing a gauged hoop into your ears the day after piercing them will not only be very painful, its also increases the chance of getting a complictaion like a keiliod or infection. i say wait AT LEAST 2 weeks but if you want to know the IDEAL amount of time you should wait it would be even more than a month. probably like 3 or 4 months
