Do I have real Silver????

OK well I bought this charm bracelet on ebay and it coast 7.99$ and free shipping. It’s from hong kong and it is stamp 925 and I ask my dad if it was fake and he said yes because of the price. Is it Fake or not. Heres the picture Btw: It kinda feels heavy!

You can first test it with a magnet, since iron and steel are magnetic whereas silver and gold and other materials are not.
The good news for you is that silver is very heavy, so that is a good thing. The 925 stamp means that it is Sterling Silver – Fine silver is 99.9 percent pure or more, but it is very soft and unsuitable for most uses. Sterling silver is defined as 92.5 percent pure or higher. Sometimes, as you note, 95 percent pure silver is sold; this has more silver than the minimum it needs to be called sterling but it’s still sterling. The remaining 5 to 7-1/2 percent is usually copper because this has been found to be the best metal to alloy with the silver to not discolor it, while making it hard.

If you are worried about it you can always take it to a jeweler for testing, or go to a pawn shop and act like you are interested in selling it, they will test it usually right there, and tell you if its real, you then change your mind about selling it and leave with it. Though this is a bad way to do things it is also free, where as the jeweler is not.
