Is a simulated diamond a fake diamond?
whats the difference between them a simulated diamond is it a cubic zirconia with a different name?/
But there still pretty…lol even zales sales them!!
Well, this is where it comes down to appropriate “terms”.
In the jewelry field, the word “simulated” means a stone that is similar to another, but not necessarily the same composition.
Example: A “CZ” or Cubic Zirconia is a simulant of a Diamond. They look similar, but both are unique stones and of different chemical composition
A “Synthetic” Stone is a stone that is the same chemical composition and has all the same characteristics, but has been cultured or “grown” in a controlled environment ( lab ).
And yes, there are Synthetic Diamonds. They are not widely available on the jewelry market scene, but they do exist. MOstly used for industrial purpose because the process to create them is costly.

1) Moisanite
2) White Sapphire
3) Clear Quartz
4) Swarovski Crystal
5) Goshenite
