Ruby Red Harvest Adopts TraceGains CaseTrace PTI Printing, Labeling, and Compliance Solution
TraceGains, Inc., the leader in affordable turnkey Produce Traceability Initiative compliance and labeling software, is proud to announce that Ruby Red Harvest is the latest produce company to choose TraceGains’ CaseTrace PTI™ software to rapidly achieve Produce Traceability Initiative compliance.
The Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) is an industry-wide effort chartered by the Produce Marketing Association, United Fresh Produce Association, and the Canadian Produce Marketing Association, and is aimed at creating a traceability process that will enable the quick and efficient electronic tracking and tracing of produce cases between supply chain members. The PTI’s Action Plan for achieving chain-wide, electronic traceability was created by a steering committee of 50+ produce companies representing every facet of the produce supply chain and through the support of additional trade associations in both the United States and Canada.
TraceGains’ CaseTrace PTI (www.tracegainspti.com) software installs on any PC and is a one-time investment to generate PTI-compliant GS1-128 style labels. The software also helps growers, packers, and shippers of fresh produce to build and manage their GTIN catalogs. CaseTrace PTI is available directly from TraceGains and also through a growing network of resellers providing labeling, packaging, and system integration solutions specifically to the produce industry. Labeling and traceability solutions for field-packed produce are also available from TraceGains.
