Where can I get a platinum wedding band polished?

I want to get my husband’s platinum wedding band polished but I can’t get it done at the company I bought it from because I no longer live in the area. Can I just go to any jewelry store chain and pay them to polish it?
Platinum is not like gold and silver, it can’t be polished with a jeweler’s polishing rag or a polishing kit. Platinum is much harder and it needs special equipment to be buffed smooth of any imperfections.

You can go to any jeweler… just tell them that you purchased out of town and you want it cleaned… there shouldn’t be any problems!
