Why we all love badges
Name recognition is important: whether it be your business name, event name or even just your own name. We human beings like to know who is who and what is what. From promotional material for your business to name badges for your staff, getting your name out there is important stuff.
Badges can be a key element of getting a name out there, and there’s an eclectic range of badge styles to choose from: be in enamel, button, plastic name, printed, flashing, rubberized, polystone… the list goes on. And what about lanyards? These are great for handing out at events: people love them and they’re always useful. They can also be used within office for staff to keep their passes and key attached to: and if your company name is printing upon them, your staff will literally take and promote your name everywhere.
Brand promotion – from keyrings to cufflinks
Branding is seen as one of the most important things for the promotion of anything: design a swanky logo with a great colour scheme and you’re on your way. But is that enough – who’s going to see it, apart from you and the bloke sat next to you?
There are many other means for brand promotion. Choose your own colours and design for a batch of promotional silicone wrist bands, and have your name displayed here there and everywhere. Remember the plex puzzle ball? You often get them in crackers and they keep the kids entertained for ages… What better way to keep potential clients literally focused on your brand colours and logos by having your own style plex balls? Branded dog tags, keyrings, cufflinks and cuddly toys: choosing the things people love, and adding your brand to them is a highly successful means of brand promotion. Your brand is instantly attractive, and people look.
You can probably think of several brand logos off the top of your head. Why? Because the promotion of that brand is public, visible is “out there”. The psychology seems simple – be seen: be successful.
