Earrings Diamond Plugs

Any advice for a guy thinking of starting wearing earring(s) again?
I’ve always been a fan of jewelry (mostly on other people, I don’t wear any at the moment), and at 9 I got my ears pierced (I intended to get just the left one done, but the lady doing it talked me into both). I haven’t worn earrings in years and am thinking of starting again (I think they’d go in, each ear has a little dimple that could be a hole).
Would it be possible to wear just one without the hole in the other ear looking silly?
What earrings do you think would look best? I kinda like studs so I was thinking (in white gold) diamonds, black diamonds, emeralds (my fave color is green), or little white gold balls.
Or maybe tiny silver hoops
Or possibly even body jewelry, small CBR’s or maybe I could stretch my ears (I found some blue titanium single flare tunnels in 8g I love, and I could also wear little semiprecious gem plugs)
Sorry for the long ramble I just wanted to get all my thoughts out.

I don’t think you should, but if you do, only one ear and a diamond. nothing to stretch your ears!!
